The patriots believe that the colnonies should separate from Great Britain. The reason why the patriots believe this is because Great Britain is trying to tax us for their army which is killing our people. Also, King George is trying to keep our colonists from settling west of the Appalichan mountains. Another important reason why we need to separate from Great Britain is because we have worked long and hard for our land. I believe one day we will be run by an order of democracy and everyone will have a say in our government and our actions.

The first order of business, that us patriots must attend to, is the taxation. Great Britain is taxing people in the colonies for their army which is murdering our people when we are trying to establish colonies. Also, we came to the americas to become free from Great Britain which is run by a Monarchy. Due to the fact that the loyalists need money to run the army, but why should we pay money just to get killed, we shouldn't and that is why us patriots need to get away from Great Britain to a place where we can establish a better, more civilized society.

We understand why Great Britain needs money.

Another reason that the colonies need to separate from Great Britain is because of the proclimation of 1776 which did not allow colonists to settle west of the Apalichan Mountains. This proclimation is obsured and unfair because of many reasons. The first reason is that we faught hard and lost many men to win this land and King George II is un-ableing us to settle in the west. Another reason is the only reason he wrote this proclimation was so he could gain tax money to build an army to send into the colonies to kill us.

Also, On March 5, 1770, a crowd of sixty towns people surrounded British sentries guarding the customs house. They began pelting snowballs at the guards. Suddenly, a shot rang out, but it doesn't mean that we shot it, followed by several others. Ultimately, 11 colonists were hit. Five were dead, including Crispus Attucks, a former slave.
