Using your own words, define electromagnetic wave.

An electromagnetic wave is a type of wave that is created when electric and magnetic fields oscillate and propagate through space. These waves have a wide range of frequencies and wavelengths, ranging from radio waves with very low frequencies and long wavelengths, to gamma rays with very high frequencies and short wavelengths. Electromagnetic waves are able to travel through a vacuum, unlike sound waves which require a medium such as air to propagate.
